On 17 November, ESA Astronaut Thomas Pesquet with Roscosmos Commander Oleg Novitsky and NASA Astronaut Peggy Whitson will be launched aboard a Soyuz spacecraft from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for a long duration mission on the International Space Station.
Launch is scheduled at 20:20 GMT on Nov. 17, 02:20 Baikonur time on Nov. 18.
Docking and ingress will occur after 34 orbits, at 22:00 GMT on Nov. 19. GMT.
Live Transmission times (GMT) as follows:
17 November
Launch : 1930-2045 GMT
The launch transmission will carry English commentary on track 1 and French on track 2.
It will include B-roll feeds of crew arrival and preparation in Baikonur and of the launch-day activities with crew suit-up, walk-out and last wave as they board the launcher.
19 November
Docking: 2130-2210 GMT
Hatch-opening/welcome ceremony: 2345-0110 GMT
The docking and hatch-opening transmissions will carry joint English/French commentary on both tracks.
