Short production of 2 parts on the Dutch Satellite Proba, Project for On-Board Autonomy. Proba was lauched successfully on the 22 of October on board India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle. The small satellite has the revolutionary task of using the Internet to send data to Earth and is the first ESA satellite with fully autonomous capabilities - meaning it operates virtually unaided.
The first part of this video comprises of graphic animations with Dutch commentary depicting the Probal mission. The second part features integration and hardware shots of the satellite (please note there is no audio with this footage.)
