Go to topicThis is the third of five programmes on Meteosat Second Generation and focuses on how bad weather effects the transportation industry and looks at how National meterological offices with the aid of satellite data are able to provide specially taylored forecasts for land, sea and air transportation services. ESA's new second generation weather satellite, MSG, will aid in the increased accuracy of these weather forecasts and will be a valuable asset in providing early forecasts of extreme weather conditions. The 5-minute A-roll contains split audio with an English guide track and is complemented by a B-roll with international sound only.
