Film campaign highlights of the Ariane 5 Vol 162 launch from Kourou. The launch took place successfully on the night of the 27/28 September 2003 placing all three passengers of ESA's SMART-1 spacecraft and the EBird and INSAT satellites into their correct orbits. This footage begins at the arrival of HMS Toucan in Kourou, it includes the launch and finishes with the success statements by the heads of departments of the companies and agencies responsible for the satellites. The success statements are in English and all the footage carries clean international sound.
