On 18 October 2003; spanish ESA astronaut Pedro Duque was lanched on a ten day mission to the International Space Station. This Exchange provides an overview of the experiments that Pedro duque performed. There are numerous spanish language sounbites. Location recordings were made at ESTEC in Star City and in Houston.

La Misi?n Cervantes, patrocinada por el Gobierno Espa?ol, cuenta con dos objetivos principales. Durante la misi?n, se llevar?n a cabo una amplia gama de experimentos a bordo de la estaci?n, y, adem?s, se utilizar? la c?psula Soyuz TM-3, en la que viaja la nueva tripulaci?n, para reemplazar a la Soyuz TMA-2 que en la actualidad se encuentra acoplada a la estaci?n espacial.
