Underground day 1.
The cavenauts head out for their first day of real exploration and get wet in the process. They make use of the water they find to replenish their supplies.
An international crew of six astronauts are training for a caving adventure designed to prepare them for spaceflight. Training started a week before they entered the caves on Friday 7 September to spend six days underground.
