Volare Mission Highlights

The first of ESA's new generation of astronauts to fly to orbit, Luca Parmitano is nearing the end of his stay onboard the International Space Station. His mission has been the fifth European long-duration expedition to the ISS, and has incorporated two spacewalks and the arrival of ESA's fourth Automated Transfer Vehicle.
