Euclid animation - operating mode

Animation of the Euclid spacecraft. During operations, the solar panels (on the left in this view) will always point towards the Sun, while the telescope scans the sky to observe billions of distant galaxies.

Euclid is a medium-class mission in ESA's Cosmic Vision to investigate the expansion of our Universe over the past ten billion years, probing cosmic epochs from before the expansion started to accelerate, all the way to the present.
