Satellites give us a unique picture of our planet, and how natural and manmade processes affect it. The Sentinel series of satellites collects information about air, land, and the oceans, while ESA’s Earth Explorers pioneer new scientific measurements. This information, combined with measurements from the ground, can help scientists using computer models predict how our planet will change in the future, and can inform us as citizens and our lawmakers when we decide what to do with our precious natural resources.
