Seeing the invisible
The human eye can only see a very limited range of the electromagnetic spectrum, the visible light. However, we can use different instruments to see what is invisible to us. Earth observation satellites, for example, carry scientific instruments that can see in the visible, as well as other ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum. In this video, with a simple experiment, we will explore how can we observe the world in infrared.
