ESA’s Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) was developed, constructed and tested at different sites across Europe. This sixth episode in ‘The making of Juice’ series takes the viewer behind the scenes of the European space industry and planetary science community involved in the mission.
In this episode Manuela Baroni, Juice AIT (Assembly, Integration and Testing) Engineer, presents the idea and results of the ‘Juice up your rocket!’ competition, which invited children from all over the world to create an artwork related to the mission. The top prize? Your artwork on the nose (fairing) of the rocket that launches Juice into space!
November 2023 update: This episode is part of a film project that culminated in a two-hour documentary film released in November 2023.
