What improvements will MTG bring?

Paul Blythe, MTG Programme Manager at ESA, talks about the improvements that the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) mission will bring. MTG will ensure continuity whilst enhancing the previous Meteosat’s capabilities with respect to nowcasting, global and regional numerical weather prediction, climate and atmospheric chemistry monitoring.
