The ESA Academy Experiments programme provides educational support for experiments that can be performed on several different platforms used for space-related research. In this video, ESA Payload Systems Engineer Volker Koehne uses the International Space Station as an example of how to approach experiment development and all the necessary phases. The approach described is applicable to all platforms, to varying extents.
