Organisation
The MELiSSA consortium is a partnership of independent organizations which signed the Memorandum of Understanding. This project is managed by ESA. These so called MELiSSA partners are universities, research centres and SME’s, and industrial world leaders. The members bound in the Memorandum of Understanding, form the MELiSSA council.
Besides these parties, several other co-operating partners like major industrial players, space agencies and national authorities are involved. A total of more than 40 different parties from 13 countries make up the diverse MELiSSA community. There is as well a MELiSSA Foundation and 2 spin-off companies.
MELiSSA eagerly stimulates the promising young generation of scientists and engineers and welcomed already 140 graduated Bachelors, Masters, Trainees and PhD’s.
