Laser Diode Endurance

A laser diode test facility has been built at ESTEC. It has all the necessary capabilities to assess the performance and reliability of laser diodes in space representative conditions. The test benches present in the laboratory enable both long term reliability studies and in depth analysis of performance/failure modes. These capabilities, provide an unique and complete test environment for laser diodes in space applications.
