Lessons from space will continue even after the mission ends. Lectures and videos will be released when Luca Parmitano is back on Earth.

University lectures

A series of lectures on space robotics will be made available on the Web to students of engineering and related degrees. Educational talks given by prominent university lecturers will cover robotics on the Space Station as well as on interplanetary missions. Speakers include engineers from national space agencies such as Professor Alin Albu-Schaeffer and Professor Amalia Ercoli Finzi.

Space in Bytes

Robots have played a pivotal role in human spaceflight. Europe’s Automated Transfer Vehicle, NASA’s Robonaut and the Station’s robotic arms are some of the stars of new episodes of Space-in-Bytes. Rover missions to Mars and telecommunications will also be covered by this short educational film for the general public.
