Do you have an original project researching astronauts’ challenges on long missions? The UK Space Environments Association is operating an exciting competition for young researchers and entrepreneurs aged 18–25.

To enter the competition, create a video of up to three minutes that presents your idea. Then upload it on YouTube and tweet about it. Full details on the link on the right.

The winner will be announced at the UK Space Conference in Liverpool in July 2015. He or she will win the opportunity to discuss the research idea with Helen Sharman, as well win memorabilia signed by Tim Peake, ESA’s first British astronaut.

The competition is sponsored by King’s Health Partners, Academic Health Science Centre.
