The ESA video archive allows you to explore a vast collection of videos related to ESA’s activities.

It covers a wide range of video material, from digitised films and tapes dating back to the early days of ESA to our latest productions on the ongoing missions.

Two distinct sites are available, one for the general public, ‘Video on demand’ and one for the professionals, ‘Videos for professionals’.

Video on demand

This section provides videos suitable for everyone. The videos available on this site are usually the same ones that are featured on the ESA website, on ESA articles, or shared on our YouTube and social media channels.

Note that some videos available on this site contain licensed content (music, stock footage, animations, etc.). These videos can be used for educational or informational purposes, following ESA's image and video usage guidelines but cannot be modified or used in part for other productions without explicit authorisation by ESA.

Videos for professionals

This section offers a library of high-quality clips specifically for professional use (journalists, broadcasters, documentary producers, etc.)

Search for sets of clips by programme, mission or spacecraft using the search bar.

Broadcast-quality footage is listed under the ‘clips’ section when you open a set of clips.

Downloading these clips requires registration to the ESA video library for professionals. Once logged in, click the blue 'download the clip' hyperlink under the player of the selected videos to download the files.
