      Exploring the Universe - an overview of the future directions of ESA's space science programme, made for the 25th anniversary of the Agency. Topics are explained in detail, The documentary covers stellar science; investigating the Sun, including solar oscillations; the structure of comets (Giotto and Halley's comet); and the then upcoming missions Cornerstone missions: SOHO, Cluster, Cassini-Huygens, Rosetta, XMM-Newton, Herschel (then called FIRST). It includes animations, real astronomical images and interviews with eminent scientists on the value of the missions and the strengths of European space science, including Douglas Gogh, Catherine Cesarsky (French with English subtitles, Johann Bleeker (German with English subtitles)
