The Telkom 1 satellite was launched by Ariane 4 on August 12th, 1999. This video contains a summary of the whole campaign as follows - launcher parts unloaded from ship, assembly of launcher components, launcher rolled out to final assembly building, closure of cryogenic arms, satellite unloaded from ship and unboxed, satellite lowered onto base, satellite rolled out and hoisted to top of rocket, night launch.
