Between the 14 and 15 November 2001 Ministers responsible for space from the 15 Member States of ESA and Canada met in Edinburgh to set the course for the development of Eruope's space programme for the five years ahead.
This tape contains rushes from the opening day of the ESA Council Meeting at Ministerial Level and includes GVs of the ministers in the meeting room and an opening statement in English by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh.
