      use the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) to train for their duties aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. This type of computer interface paired with virtual reality training hardware and software helps the entire team for dealing with ISS elements.
      The Russian Soyuz lifted of with the Expedition 7 crew on April 25, 2003. The seventh crew to live aboard the International Space Station is led by Russian Commander Yuri Malenchenko and is joined by U.S. Astronaut Ed Lu, a flight engineer. Expedition 7 took charge of the ISS April 28, 2003 and will be in space for six months.
