ÒI feel very proud, yes, if people see this as a representation of Spain in space. IÕm going to do the job the best I can. Of course the most important thing of all is to feel proud afterwards, once the job is done.Ó
Pedro has flown in orbit once before. He was part of a 1988 NASA shuttle crew, along with Apollo astronaut John Glenn. For Cervantes, he has spent many months learning a new set of skills for a very different mission.
