      -Pictures of Saturn and Titan
With its strange rings and complex system of moons, Saturn remains a mystery to scientists. Since the 1970s, spacecraft such as Voyager have sent back images of this planet. It has revealed itself as a giant ball of gas with at least 30 moons. But alongside these spectacular pictures lie many unanswered questions.
SOT Jean-Pierre Lebreton, Huygens ESA Project Scientist:
Saturn is one of the most complex systemsÉit has the planet, the rings, the moons, and all of this is embedded into a huge magnetic field and really studying Saturn is like studying the solar system.
