The security of Olympic games is an obvious concern. Recently experiments with satellite navigation were carried out in Athens with the aim to increase the safety aroun this important event.
Security guards experimented with a personal digital assitant featuring a satellite navigation device, through wich they could trigger alarms. this enables secrutity management to take decisions based on accurate knowledge -two metre precision- from where the alarm originates, to wich is added knowledge about the location of the security vehicles.
The programme includes an A-roll of four minutes (split audio english voiceover) and a B-roll of 9 minutes with clean international sound.
