On 6 July 2006, German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter joined the permanent ISS Expedition 13 Crew.

This week's highlights will cover inter alia the following:
- Best images from ISS operations in the past week involving checking out the Canadarm robotic system
- Images featuring NASA astronaut Jeff Williams working on the SPHERES experiment
- Answers (in German) to questions by ARD anchor Uli Wickert at an interview broadcast by ARD on 10 August. These images can now be used by all broadcasters
