Food scarcity has been in the headlines of late, and its clear that the world's poorer countries are suffering the most, but how can Europe's satellites help the situation. By collecting data on the climate, vegetation and humidity ESA's earth observation satellites can help better understand conditions that effect crops and grazing lands, both vital components in agricultural production.
