      The Sentinel-1 mission is designed as a constellation of two identical satellites, Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B , launched separately. By orbiting Earth 180° apart, global coverage and data delivery are optimised for Copernicus users. The constellation offers global revisit every six days.
