This video, part of a new series of ESA teaching resources called 'Teach with space', shows an experiment that can be performed by teachers in the classroom to demonstrate Kepler’s laws of planetary motion, in particular how orbiting bodies sweep out equal areas in equal times and the dramatic effect this has on their orbital velocity.
