    • Description

Replay of the Space for Inspiration event that took place 14–15 September at the London Science Museum as a celebration of the diversity and pervasiveness of space in technology, industry and culture.

Space exploration inspires us in so many ways. From the indescribable view of our lonely blue planet from space, to the ground-breaking technology that has made that new perspective possible – it has the power to fundamentally change the way we think about our lives, our future, and the challenges we face every day.

It is no surprise that space has had such a pervasive impact on our culture, our ambitions, and the way we live. From farming to fashion, join us to see how advances made for spaceflight have influenced almost every aspect of modern life on earth.

This session moderated by science comedian Helen Keen includes talks by David Honess, Raspberry Pi Foundation; Annalisa Dominoni and Benedetto Quaquaro, designers from Politecnico di Milan; Angelo Vermeulen, Delft University of Technology; Thorsten Schmidt, Malling & Schmidt; Duncan Copp, film Producer, director and writer; and Namira Salim, Space Trust.
