Description: In this short video, Beniamino Abis answers the questions “Why are storms so prevalent in recent times?” and  “Why does rain accumulation cause flooding of the streets?”. Since 2019 Beniamino has been working at Progressive Systems in supporting ESA-ESRIN as an expert in Climate and Earth Observation. This video is part of the "Ask a scientist" webinar organised to support teachers and teams of students participating in ESA Climate Detectives 2020-2021.
