Nicholas Puschman
Nicholas Puschman is a lawyer in the London offices of international law firm, Linklaters LLP. He advises clients in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors and brings with him a range of experience of working directly in industry.
Before joining Linklaters, he worked in private practice in another international law firm and in legal and regulatory roles in the space industry. This included time at a specialist consultancy firm in London, working closely with both commercial and government clients on the regulatory, policy and strategy aspects of their space projects, and two years in the legal department of the European Space Agency at its headquarters in Paris where, at the same time, he served as Executive Secretary of the ECSL. He has gained further insight into the needs of companies in the space sector, having spent time on secondment to one of the leading global satellite operators.
He participates regularly in satellite and aerospace conferences and has been published on the topics of space contracts, satellite regulation and telecommunications law. He and teaches space law to Masters students at Strathclyde Law School, Glasgow. In 2020, Nicholas was selected as one of the “20 under 35” international rising stars by Space & Satellites Professionals International (SSPI) and, in 2021 and 2022, was recognised as a leading satellite lawyer in Who’s Who Legal global rankings.
Nicholas has been an elected ECSL Board Member since 2019.
