Dedicated platforms called Express Pallets will accommodate external payload instruments at four locations on the International Space Station. Two will offer zenith-oriented viewing, the other nadir-viewing. Each Express Pallet will provide the interface infrastructure (six adapters) and the resources needed to accommodate several smaller payload instruments.
