This radar image shows an area of 100 Km swath width centred over the ice-covered Gulf of Finland that separates the countries of Finland (on the north) and Estonia (on the south). Helsinki the capital, largest city, and chief seaport of Finland, as well as the capital of Uusimaa is visible as a bright white area (center left). The Vantaa Airport is also visible north of the city.
