Installing a corner reflector

Installing a corner reflector on sea ice, near Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The reflectors are essential to calibrate the airborne radar altimeters and provide a reference height to measure penetration of the Cryosat signal into the snow cover. Similar reflectors are installed at all main land sites during the validation campaigns.
