As the NASA/ESA/ASI Cassini spacecraft approached Titan on 21 August 2005, it captured this natural colour view of the moon's orange, global smog.
Images taken with the wide-angle camera using red, green and blue spectral filters were combined to create this colour view. The images were acquired at a distance of approximately 213 000 kilometres from Titan. Resolution is about 13 kilometres per pixel.
