Opening Ceremony of the exhibition

Under the theme of Space for human benefit and exploration, the 61st International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2010) was formally opened in Prague, Czech Republic.
Jean-Jacques Dordain, ESA's Director General, with Mr Berndt Feuebacher, President of IAF, on the ESA stand, during the official Ceremony to inaugurate the IAC 2010 exhibition, on Monday 27 September.

During the week the exhibition will serve as a meeting point for conference participants. The exhibition is open to the public on Friday, October 1, from 14.00 to 17.00.
