Under the theme of Space for human benefit and exploration, the 61st International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2010) was formally opened in Prague, Czech Republic.
An official Ceremony to inaugurate the IAC 2010 exhibition also took place on Monday 27 September with the heads of Space agencies.
During the week the exhibition will serve as a meeting point for conference participants. The exhibition is open to the public on Friday, October 1, from 14.00 to 17.00.
