Forest in 3D

One result from ESA's TropiSAR campaign carried out in the tropical forest of French Guiana to support the development of the candidate Earth Explorer BIOMASS mission. Through tomography data acquisition and processing, it is possible to map forests in 3D. The image shows how the tower, surrounded by trees, is clearly visible within the different layers of data.
