The Oxford Canal at Hillmorton on the eastern edge of Rugby in
Warwickshire. The start-up company e-canal Ltd hosted at ESA Business Incubation Centre Harwell is developing a smart phone app for boat users on the UK inland waterways, using GPS technology developed at ESA. This will provide realtime data on the location of nearby places
of interest, amenities, queues at locks, sunken boats or other
hazards.
