Iris Precursor signing

A partnership worth €15 million between ESA and UK satellite operator Inmarsat will ensure safer air traffic management by 2018.

A contract was signed by ESA’s Magali Vaissiere, ESA’s Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications, and Rupert Pearce, Inmarsat CEO, on 26 November 2014 worth €15 million, at Westminster in London, UK.

Also present was Rt Hon Greg Clark, Minister of State for Cabinet Office and Minister for Universities and Science, and Member of Parliament Adam Afriyie.
