ESA signs ICE partnership

On 15 July 2015, ESA signed a contract with Inmarsat to support the Inmarsat Communications Evolution project, ICE. It offers industry an opportunity to propose innovative technology that will improve the communication capabilities of Inmarsat’s next-generation L-band satellite system, I6, and its associated products and services.

The contract was signed by Magali Vaissiere, ESA’s Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications, and Michele Franci, Chief Technical Officer at Inmarsat.
