Iris Precursor signing

A partnership worth €15 million between ESA and UK satellite operator Inmarsat will ensure safer air traffic management by 2018.

A contract was signed by ESA’s Magali Vaissiere, ESA’s Director of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications, and Rupert Pearce, Inmarsat CEO, on 26 November 2014 worth €15 million, at Westminster in London, UK.

Also present was Rt Hon Greg Clark, Minister of State for Cabinet Office and Minister for Universities and Science, and Members of Parliament Adam Afriyie and David Willetts, shown congratulating the partners.
