Thomas Reiter spacewalk

Thomas Reiter performed the first spacewalk by an ESA astronaut (and a German citizen) during the ESA/Russian EuroMir '95 mission to the Mir space station. His first spacewalk on 20 October 1995, the first of three for the mission, he and Sergei Avdeyev installed sample cassettes in the European Science Exposure Facility.
