Intelligent fashion for a future life under Earth-like conditions and the expansion of humanity into space.
Soshoku is Japanese and means decoration/ornament. Inspired by garments from Japanese ethnology, traditional wear of the samurai and geisha, characterised by simple, broad cuts, Soshoku stands for the interplay of minimalism and maximalism. The natural drape, emerging in traditional kimono cuts, combined with ornamental draping techniques, creates calmness and refinement. Casual designs are combined with a dynamic range of muted colours, creating the desired androgyny of the collection.
The collaboration with ESA focuses on life on Earth-like planets and the expansion of the humanity into space. Intelligent fashion aims at making extraterrestrial life comfortable and stylish. A combination of androgynous cuts and high-tech fabrics set an advanced attitude for life in outer space.
