The Martian climate is considered by the GSTP activity to improve the Martian Climate Database, which is used to extract parameters such as atmosphere pressure, temperature, dust densities etc. A GSTP activity improved and fine-tuned the tool while also making it easier to use for the large community who rely on it for mission design and planning and for climate modelling. This map shows the wind in a West to East direction on Mars as predicted by the Martian Climate Database.
