Mission Minerva Big Picture: From Warsaw to Lublin

ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti returned to the International Space Station for her second mission, Minerva, on 27 April 2022. In her free time, like many astronauts, she enjoys looking out of the Cupola windows at Earth. This collage of pictures shows Poland's longest river, the Vistula, from Lublin to Poland's capital Warsaw, and is made from multiple pictures mapped together, digitally rotated and assembled into this large collage. Samantha took these images on 7 August 2022.
