Mission Minerva Big Picture: New York City

ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti returned to the International Space Station for her second mission, Minerva, on 27 April 2022. In her free time, like many astronauts, she enjoys looking out of the Cupola windows at Earth. This collage of pictures shows New York City, in the State of New York, United States, made from multiple pictures mapped together, digitally rotated and assembled into this large collage. Samantha took these images on 14 August 2022.
