ESA's European Astronaut Centre is leading the way in space exploration by integrating eXtended Reality (XR) technologies, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). The XR lab was established in 2015 and is dedicated to harnessing the potential of these technologies for astronauts, instructors, developers, researchers, and operators as they prepare for space travel beyond Earth's orbit.
