The rolling sand seas of the Namib desert along the western coast of Namibia, with the Atlantic Ocean showing its blue colours. It is perhaps the world’s oldest desert, stretching back 55-80 million years. It is one of the driest regions in the world, with only the Atacama Desert in South America beating it.
Several animals find their home in the Namib desert, such as the gemsboks, ostriches and even some lions in the outer edge of the desert.
